I want to program the RS-232-interface of the CETA test devices and need further information.

The CETA test devices have different versions of firmware. This has an influence on the telegrams and data transferred by the RS-232-interface.

CETA provides an extensive English documentation to support the programming of the RS-232-interface. This documentation contains information about the communication structure, types of telegrams and their contents, transfer of results, status messages, transfer of parameters, hardware handshake and CRC calculation. Also included is a source code (in C) for the CRC-calculation and many useful examples of communication and data transfer.

The interface documentation is updated constantly based on customers’ feedback. Therefore always the newest version of the documentation should be used for programming.
