1. An overview of data protection
Duty to provide information pursuant to Art. 13 EU-DSGVO on the processing of personal data
The new data protection law of the European Union is called DGSVO. It regulates, for example, how companies process personal data of their customers, interested parties, suppliers, service providers and other business partners. The following explains which data is processed for which purpose and which rights you have.
Personal data are all data with which you can be personally identified (e.g. address, name, function, telephone number, email address).
We only collect, process or use personal data from you if you voluntarily make it available to us and it is also permitted by law or you have consented to.
This usually happens when you enter into a business relationship with us, e.g. by closing contracts, requiring quotations, placing repair orders, consulting or making use of other services provided by our company. We will always obtain your consent for further purposes. The legal bases are laid down in the European data protection basic regulation among other things in the art. 6, 7 and your resulting rights in the art. 12-21.
The storage period depends on the legal requirements. If you conclude contracts with us, the storage period is usually 10 years.
Your personal data which we for example use to track offers, are only stored as long as we need them for processing, tracking and possible clarification.
Longer storage times occur with a regular customer. We will then delete your data at the latest after 10 years from the date on which the last active interaction with you took place.
Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g. via email communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of your data from third-party access is not possible.

Responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal email notification to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right of appeal to the responsible supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of data protection law, the data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority for data protection issues is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. Right to data transferability
You have the right to have data which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.
Information, blocking, deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint for this and other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right of objection
Any person data subject to the processing of personal data shall have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to his particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning him carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the DS Block Exemption Regulation. In the event of objection, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can prove compelling grounds for processing worthy of protection which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

How do we collect your data?
On the one hand your data is collected by you communicating it to us. This may involve data that you enter in a contact form or when registering for a newsletter.
Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). This data is collected automatically as soon as you visit our website.
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is error-free. Other data can be used to analyse your user behaviour.

4. a) Data Collection Newsletter
If you want to subscribe to our newsletter offered on the website, we need from you an
Email address as well as an information in order to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis.
We use these data exclusively for the dispatch of the requested information and do not pass these on to third parties.
The data saved in our database in order to send the newsletter registration form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 a) DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, email address and their use to send the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data stored with us for sending the newsletter will be stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after having unsubscribed. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.
Contact form
Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.
We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) DSGVO. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
5. Analytics and advertising
We don't use analysis and advertisement tools exept of Matomo (before Piwik).
Matomo (formerly Piwik)
This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before it is stored.
Matomo cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
The storage of Matomo cookies is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

With each individual call-up of our website that is equipped with a LinkedIn component (LinkedIn plug-in), this component causes the browser used by the data subject to download a corresponding representation of the component from LinkedIn. Further information on LinkedIn plug-ins can be found at https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins. As part of this technical procedure, LinkedIn receives knowledge of which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to LinkedIn at the same time, LinkedIn recognizes which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting with each call-up of our website by the data subject and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject.
