All CETA test devices are calibrated with calibration standards before delivery and after maintenance. The used calibration standards are controlled regularly. A certificate of the test device documents the calibration. These time intervals for recalibration depend on the operating conditions and on the company-interval regulations of the test inspection equipment monitoring.
By means of calibration masters (standard leak and master jets) the proper function of the test device including the fixture can be tested (e.g. by change of shift).
The calibration masters are individually dimensioned for the application specified by the pressure and flow rate. Each calibration master is delivered with calibration certificate.
Standard leaks are used in leak detection applications. Master jets have larger flow rates than standard leaks and used in flow testing applications.
CETA Standard Leak
The CETA standard leak can be used for the quick and comfortable monitoring of the CETA leak detectors according to the documents of the quality assurance department. At a selected pressure this calibration device has a defined flow. By connecting the standard leak to the measuring circuit of the leak tester a determined leak can be simulated. This procedure enables the check of the correct adjustment of the test equipment and/or the entire test system including the adapter fixture within seconds. The CETA standard leak is supplied with a calibration certificate.
With the CETA standard leaks a various range of flows (depending on the pressure) can be covered (excerpt from the list of deliverable leaks on the data sheet).
In case the required value is not listed in the CETA standard leak table, a customized leak can be manufactured.
CETA Master Jet
The CETA master jet is used for a quick and comfortable monitoring of the CETA flow testers (series CETATEST 900 and CETATEST 915) according to the documents of the quality assurance department. This calibration device has an exactly defined flow at a selected pressure. The CETA master jets have higher flows than the CETA standard leaks, used for the test of the CETA leak detectors.
With the CETA standard master jets several range of pressure dependent flow rates can be covered (except from the list of deliverable master jets on the data sheet).
