Leak tester CETATEST 825

The industrial PC controlled CETATEST 825 is a fully automatic leak tester for the detection of leaking parts within the cycle time of the production process. The differential pressure method is. Hereby the pressures in the test part volume and in a leak-tight reference volume are compared.

Leak tests at very low test pressures can be carried out with the test device variant CETATEST 825 LP (Low Pressure).

The special variant CETATEST 825 HP-PR (high-pressure pressure-rise) is suitable for high-pressure leak testing of products that can be filled on one side.

The integrated 7-inch touch-screen with an intuitive operable graphical user interface makes it possible to display a wide range of information (for example, measurement curves, histograms). Operation is possible both via the touch-screen and via a dual-jog dial. Separate start / stop buttons ensure operating safety even in harsh industrial environments.

The memory stores more than 1 million measurement results and 256 test programs.

Special variant CETATEST 825 HP-PR

High-pressure leak tests with the pressure-rise method

The CETATEST 825 HP-PR in the variant high pressure can be used for leak tests (for example, the housing and seat of injection valves) up to a test pressure of 400 bar using the test mode pressure rise.

The area in which the leakage is to be measured is enclosed by a measuring chamber (secondary circuit). Hereby the primary circuit is pressurised with the test pressure (up to 400 bar). The leakage test is performed in the secondary circuit using the differential pressure method.

The CETATEST 825 HP-PR can be delivered as 1-channel or 2-channel test device.

In the right picture: Examples of test parts that CETA customers test with the CETATEST 825 HP-PR.

Pressure sensor Piezo-resistive differential pressure transducer (in secondary circuit), Piezo-resistive gauge pressure sensor (in primary and secondary circuit)
Pressure ranges Primary pressure: 100 bar (MPR), 400 bar (MPR) Pressure regulation range from 30 bar Secondary pressure: 150 mbar (EPR) MPR = Mechanical pressure regulator EPR = Electronical pressure regulator

Remark
All leak and flow testers as well as pressure manometers and calibration standards (test leaks, master jets) are supplied with DAkkS-accredited and internationally recognized calibration certificate (compliant with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025) as standard and at no extra charge on initial delivery. (*)

This calibration also meets the requirements of the international IATF 16949 standard used in the automotive industry.

(*) Prerequisite: The pressure and flow ranges are within the accredited scope of services of the DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory of CETA Testsysteme GmbH.
